You might ask “Why is it important to have a calendar in order to move?”

1.  You may need these calendars for the days or months leading up to the move and for the month in your new place.

2.  You will be using them as a scheduling tool for all the appointments leading up to and during the move.  You may want to use a pencil , as schedules are bound to change. This may involve movers, repair people, hook-up people, etc.

3.  Also you can note on this calendar what jobs will be delegated to other people such as family, friends or even movers.  This is a great way to get others involved and everyone will know what they are responsible for and things will not likely get overlooked.

4.  This is a great way to reduce stress when moving if you have a main calendar you will post everything to so if things do get a bit frazzeled you can go back and rearrange a few appointments without scheduling on top of others.

5.  These calendars are available to you by your requests at no cost to you.  I will be glad to email you a copy or you may just use a blank calendar of your own.  I suggest you have two one for moving and one for moving in!

Next week I will post on why you need a pre-formatted phone list.

Thank you for viewing!  Please feel free to contact me if you need assistance or advice in this area.  I will be glad to assist you!  Have a great week!
