Interview With Bruce Ahmes – BRAK Tub Inventor and Career Renovation Contractor

In this episode of Smart Retirement Life [1], Mark Hager is joined by Bruce Ahmes, a career home renovation contractor and inventor. Bruce has created and is manufacturing a new bathtub, called the BRAK tub.

About Bruce Ahmes:

His father was the head structural engineer at Grumman Aircraft when they built the Lunar Excursion Module to carry a crew of two from lunar orbit to the surface of the moon and back for the Apollo program. So, he came by his love for creating honestly.

Bruce has been a contractor now for over 40 years. When the idea for his product came to him he returned to his roots and created a design [2] that is truly unique, which he also holds the patent for.

The new product is the BRAK tub, which you’ll get to learn more about here in a few minutes.

You might wonder what in the world could be ‘new’ about a bathtub [3]. I get that, I felt the same way when I first heard about his product. But, as I discovered personally, what Bruce has designed is probably going to make you say something like, “That makes so much sense. Why didn’t someone do this earlier?
