Quikiks Interview With Steve Kaufman – Smart Retirement Life

May 20, 2015 By Mark Hager

In this episode of Smart Retirement Life we are talking to Steve Kaufman about Quikiks, a new and revolutionary shoe for people who are unable to put on or tie their own shoes. This is the world’s first truly hands-free shoe. Mark Hager interviews Steve about how his company, Hands-Free LLC came about and their mission to serve older consumers and those with limited abilities.

Steve tells us his journey to forming Hands-Free LLC, where his inspiration came from, and the benefits his customers and community are getting from the effort.

This interview was a lot of fun to do. Steve is very passionate about his work and dedicated to the people he is helping.

Most interesting, I think, is the obvious benefit that Quikiks can have for anyone (regardless of age or abilities) who want to stay independent (or, help their loved one) with the help of  a product that doesn’t look institutional. Dare I say, the ladies pink mary janes Steve shows in the video should dispel any doubt that these are functional and stylish to boot.

I know he finds the work rewarding; it’s evident by the look on his face as he talks about actual customers he is making a difference for.

If you have a family member that has difficulty putting on their shoes and wants to be more independent or maybe that is you, I encourage you to check out Quikiks.
