There are many benefits of home automation for people aging in place. We’ve covered quite a few of them, since we’re big believers in using smart home technology to keep people safe & comfortable at home as long as possible.
Home automation can help anyone improve their quality of life at home, making your house more enjoyable to live in, help ensure your personal safety and automate tasks to make your life easier.

Nice job on this. I’m keenly interested in the impacts of Home Automation and Smart Home technology on the aging in place market sector. Do you predict a crop of custom installation companies will come about with a sharp focus on this sector?
Jason,
Thanks for stopping by. Yes, I do predict that there will be a lot of companies that start putting a focus on doing installs for this niche. So much so, that I started talking with installers years ago (long before people started to realize there was going to be a niche). I am very passionate about home automation for the older consumer and feel very strongly that it is going to have a huge impact on their lives.
If I can ever answer any questions or provide any information, don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly. Happy to help any way I can.
