Senior Cell Phones – Just5 Simple Features

Senior cell phones - Just5
Just5 senior cell phone

Senior cell phones are becoming more popular. Seniors and elderly folk are warming up more to these cell phones as their choices as to the phones available grow. One of these choices is the Just5 and it is a simple and affordable cell phone for seniors by design.

Introducing the Just5

Just5 was designed specifically for seniors, or people with hearing or eyesight problems. This phone was well designed for the elderly and has many features, such as:

– Big buttons for easy dialing
– A “speaking” keypad, which confirms the buttons pressed
– Easy to use
– Easy to hold
– Emergency button
– Amplified sound (up to 100db)
– FM radio
– Flashlight
– Simple keyboard lock
– Long lasting battery

That list may not seem large, but that is the beauty of the design; there is no confusing menus, options or settings that can confuse the use of the phone. It is a drop-dead simple phone.

The cell phone is also available in several colors, including white, orange, gray, red and black.

Senior emergency cell phone

The emergency button (or Personal Emergency Response System… PERS), allows up to five numbers for an emergency, including 911, and will send an emergency text to each of them, then dial each of them. It will also activate a siren on the phone. Another appealing feature is that once a connection is made in emergency mode, the cell phone will switch to loud-speaker mode.

One other option to consider is the senior cell phone by the company Snapfon. The phone was created to be simple to use and has many features such as large buttons, enhanced volume, a SOS button that, along with sounding an alarm, dials 911 and alerts your loved ones in case of an emergency, and an affordable unlimited monthly calling plan.
