Kitchen Renovations

June 28, 2013 By Mark Hager

Kitchen renovations can have a great impact on the usability & enjoyment of your kitchen. Now, not all kitchen remodeling has to be done just because it makes your kitchen easier to use. You can choose to make some upgrades or changes just because they are beautiful!

These are examples of some kitchen renovations we found on Pinterest that we like. They may have some characteristics that might help someone aging in place, but honestly, that wasn’t the deciding factor for these. We chose these to help you see what could be done in a kitchen to make it beautiful.

Beautiful kitchens are enjoyable

Incorporating Universal Design, accessibility or other aging in place concepts into your kitchen renovations is a good idea at any age. Keep in mind that when your kitchen satisfies your taste and appeals to you, you’re going to enjoy being in it more. Having it easier to use and enjoyable can be accomplished with a little forward thinking.

This is a great collection of ideas. Having a solid plan before you go into a remodeling project can produce a more favorable outcome.
